No-bake Orange Pie

  1. Mix crushed cracker crumbs, sugar and butter.
  2. Pat crumbs evenly arount the bottom and side of a 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Chill 1 hour.
  4. Mix orange gelatin dessert, sugar and orange rind in a small bowl.
  5. Heat orange juice just below boiling.
  6. Pour the hot juice over gelatin and sugar; stir with a wooden spoon to dissolve gelatin.
  7. Chill about 20 minutes; the gelatin will be thickened but not completely set.
  8. Make 3 cups (700 ml) whipped evaporated milk; fold into gelatin.
  9. Pour into pie crust.
  10. Chill for 2 hours or until firm
