Applesauce Spice Cake Recipe

• 1 x Spice cake mix (2 layer)
• 1/2 c. Dates
• 1/2 c. Walnuts
• 2 x Large eggs
• 15 ounce Jar applesauce

1. Toss 1/4 c of the cake mix with the dates & nuts.
2. Add in the rest of the mix wiith the Large eggs and applesauce.
3. Beat 'til smooth.
4. Add in date mix.
5. Mix.
6. Pour into 9X13 inch pan.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 min.
8. FOR the frosting: 1/2 c butter, 1 pkg confectioners sugar, 2 Tbs lemon juice, 4 tsps water Beat together till smooth.
9. Spread on cooled cake
