Too Easy Cake

  1. Melt the butter and the chocolate and coffee and leave to cool slightly.
  2. (If you use cocoa powder instead of cooking chocolate, you may increase sugar to 1 cup).
  3. Beat the sugar and the chocolate mixture.
  4. Add the milk (room temperature).
  5. Add the eggs.
  6. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the mix.
  7. Add the amaretto.
  8. Preheat oven to 165C.
  9. Line the baking tin - i use a loaf pan.
  10. Bake in center of the oven for about 45 minutes, or another 5 mins if needed.
  11. Do not over bake.
  12. Remove from pan and cool.
  13. Add preferred icing.
  14. I use prepacked chocolate glaze.
