Sausage Kebabs with Broccoli, Tomatoes, and White Bean Salad

  1. Heat grill to medium-high.
  2. Roughly chop 8 tomatoes.
  3. Grate 2 teaspoons lemon zest and squeeze the juice (you should get about 3 tablespoons) into a medium bowl; whisk in 1 tablespoon oil.
  4. Add the beans, chopped tomatoes, parsley, basil, scallions, and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, toss together the sausage, broccoli, and the remaining 16 tomatoes with the remaining 2 teaspoons oil and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper.
  6. Divide the sausage and vegetables among 8 skewers and grill, covered, turning once, until lightly charred and cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Serve with the bean salad.
