Bread And No Butter Pudding Recipe

  1. Equally delicious but only 2.0g fat per serve:
  2. Spray a 21cm casserole dish with vegetable oil spray.
  3. Preheat oven to 200C.
  4. Remove crusts and cut bread into 2 1/2cm fingers.
  5. Spread a layer of bread slices (equiv to 2 slices) over the base of the dish and sprinkle 1/4 of the sultanas over this layer and then sprinkle 1 tblspn of powdered sweetener over the sultanas.
  6. Repeat layering till bread is all used.
  7. Mix egg, whites and lowfat milk together with a whisk and pour over the bread layers and bake in oven for 45-50 mins till set in the centre and lightly browned on top.
  8. If you are counting calories this is a good alternative to the real thing.
