Salmon Puffs
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 8 ounces, weight Smoked Salmon
- 1 package (12 Oz. Package) Wonton Wrappers
- 3 cups Vegetable Oil
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a heavy pot or cast iron skillet to about 350 degrees.
- Mix cream cheese and salmon together and place a teaspoonful on a wonton wrapper.
- Dip your finger in a little water and wet all edges of the wrapper.
- Fold in half to make a triangle, sealing edges and then fold two corners together, meeting in the middle.
- Repeat with remaining filling.
- Fry a few puffs at a time until lightly browned.
- Remove to drain on a paper-towel-lined plate.
- Serve hot or at room temperature.
