Soft Granola Bars
- 3 cups quick oats
- 1 cup flour
- 13 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup craisins (or whatever you want)
- 1 cup chocolate piece (i shaved semi-sweet low pantry day!)
- 12 cup butter (used reduced fat)
- 1 cup light brown sugar (not packed)
- 13 cup corn syrup
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk (used fat free)
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease a 9x13 dish.
- Combine oats, flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon, craisins and chocolate in a bowl stir until mixed well.
- On the stove melt butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and evaporated milk until they are blended together.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients together, blending well.
- Pour mixture into greased 9x13 dish.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
