Cranberry bars
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 2 1/2 cup oats
- 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup oats
- Preheat over to 375.
- Spray 9x13" pan with non stick cooking spray.
- For the base: cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar.
- Add flour and 2 1/2 cup oats, then press into prepared pan.
- Spread with cranberry sauce.
- For topping: melt 1/4 cup butter in small bowl.
- Add walnuts, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup oats.
- Sprinkle over cranberry sauce.
- Bake 25 minutes or until golden.
