Bratwurst on a Bun Topped with Bistro-Braised Cabbage

  1. Braised Cabbage: Heat oil in large pan on medium heat.
  2. Saute cabbage, onions, caraway seed and seasonings 5 min.
  3. Deglaze pan with wine.
  4. Stir in sugar.
  5. Braise mixture on low heat 15 to 20 min.
  6. or until tender.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Stir in Bistro Sauce.
  9. Keep warm until ready to use.
  10. For each serving: Grill bratwurst on medium heat 10 to 15 min.
  11. or until done (160F 71C), turning frequently.
  12. Fill 1 bun with 1 cooked bratwurst.
  13. Top with 1/4 cup (50 mL) Braised Cabbage.
