Broiled Tuna Steaks With Honey Almond Sauce Recipe

  1. Place tuna steaks in a single layer in a shallow dish.
  2. Combine lime juice, extra virgin olive oil, honey, soy sauce, ginger and cinnamon and mix well.
  3. Pour mix over fish and cover.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hrs, turning the tuna steaks once.
  5. Remove fish and reserve marinade for basting.
  6. Place fish in a broiler pan or possibly dish and broil about 4 inches from the heat source for 3 min.
  7. Baste fish and broil 2 min longer.
  8. Turn steaks and baste.
  9. Cook for 3 more min, baste and place slivered almonds on top of the tuna steaks.
  10. Cook for 2 to 3 min more or possibly till tuna begins to flake.
  11. Don't overcook.
  12. This recipe yields 4 servings.
