Better Than Onion Rings

  1. Take onions and peel.
  2. slice into 1/4 inch slabs (do not seperate into rings).
  3. In a lg bowl, pour a bottle of beer.
  4. When the foam goes down, slowly wisk in flour until batter is pretty thick.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. In a deep frying pan, add oil till it's about 3 inches deep.
  7. Heat oil till ready for frying.
  8. Take onion slabs and dip into batter.
  9. Batter should be thick enough so most sticks to the onion slab.
  10. Drop into the hot oil and fry until batter is golden brown.
  11. Remove from grease and drain on paper towels.
  12. Serve with choice of dressings for dipping.
