Create A Crust Apple Custard Pie Recipe
- 2 med. all purpose apples, pared & sliced
- 1 tbsp. ReaLemon lemon juice
- 10 tbsp. Bisquick
- 1 (14 ounce.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Crumb Topping
- Toss apples with lemon juice, then 2 Tbsp.
- of the Bisquick.
- Arrange in buttered 10" pie plate.
- In a blender, combine remaining ingredients, except the crumb topping.
- Blend on low 3 min, let stand 5 min, then pour over apples; top with crumb topping.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 min till golden brown.
- Cold.
- Garnish or possibly serve with ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
