Slow Cooker Beef Stew
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb boiling potato, cut in 3/4 inch cubes
- 1 12 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 large carrot, sliced
- 14 cup long grain rice
- 16 ounces beef stew meat
- 1 12 cups beef broth
- 14 cup catsup
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 12 teaspoons cider vinegar
- 1 12 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- salt
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
- Reduce heat to low and cook 6-8 hours.
