Holiday Clam Dip Recipe
- 2 cans minced clams
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 med. onion (minced)
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Dash Tabasco
- 1/2 - 3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 slices American cheese
- Paprika (sprinkle)
- Parmesan cheese (sprinkle)
- 1/4 pound butter
- Slowly simmer clams (with juice) and lemon juice.
- Separate pan - heat butter, onion, parsley, garlic, oregano, Tabasco till onions soften.
- Combine both mixtures and bread crumbs in a large bowl.
- Mix well.
- Transfer to baking dish, cover with Parmesan cheese, American cheese and paprika.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min (toaster oven not recommended).
