Orange Chicken with Golden Raisins and Figs

  2. Prepare the sauce.
  3. Combine all the ingredients in a medium-size bowl and set aside.

  5. Prepare the chicken.
  6. Rinse the chicken under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
  7. Place on a plate.

  9. Combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, allspice, and paprika in a small bowl.
  10. Rub the spices into the chicken skin.
