Crusty Cobbler Recipe
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. flour
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 3 to 4 c. fruit from this area which is in season (apricot, peach, apple)
- Heat butter in deep dish.
- Mix together flour, sugar, baking pwdr and lowfat milk.
- Pour over melted butter; don't stir.
- Pour fruit over mix, don't stir.
- Sprinkle with pecans.
- If fresh fruit is used, sprinkle 3/4 c. sugar over top.
- Bake 45 min at 375 degrees.
