Double Chocolate Banana Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  3. Add in the eggs and mix well.
  4. Add the smashed bananas and the yogurt and mix.
  5. In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.
  6. Add the dry mixture to the wet and incorporate well.
  7. Pour in the chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed.
  8. Pour batter into a lightly greased standard loaf pan and bake in the center of the oven for 55-60 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Place pan on a cooling rack and allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before trying to get the bread out.
