A.1. Pork Chops for Two
- 1 slice OSCAR MAYER Center Cut Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onions Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/4 cup A.1. Bold & Spicy Sauce
- 1 tsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp. oil
- 2 bone-in pork chops (3/4 lb.), 1/2 inch thick Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- Cook and stir bacon in small saucepan on medium heat until crisp.
- Remove bacon from pan with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
- Add onions, thyme and bay leaf to drippings in pan; cook 3 to 4 min.
- or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Add garlic; cook 1 min.
- Add wine, steak sauce and Worcestershire sauce; cook and stir 5 min.
- or until slightly thickened.
- Stir in bacon; keep warm.
- Heat oil in small skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add chops; cook 5 to 6 min.
- on each side or until done (145 degrees F).
- Remove from heat.
- Pour glaze over chops.
- Let stand 3 min.
- before serving.
