Mu Shu Chicken Lettuce Wraps
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp rice wine vineagar
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 clove minced garlic
- 1 tbsp finely grated fresh ginger
- 8 oz chicken, cooked and shredded. I use store rotisserie chicken for ease of use
- 9 oz package prepared coleslaw, I prefer the broccoli coleslaw
- 1 small head of bibb or boston lettuce. You will use 12 outer leaves from head of lettuce
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced on bias
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup chopped cashews
- Place all liquids ,garlic, red pepper flakes and ginger into large pan.
- Bring to low boil over meat heat and then turn heat off.
- Add chicken, stir well and then add coleslaw.
- Cover, set a side.
- Prepare lettuce leaves on plate.
- You need 12, full untorn leaves.
- Divide chicken mixture amongst lettuce leaves
- Divide green onions and nuts over top and serve.
