Homemade Yokan Made With Sweet Bean Paste and Kanten
- 300 grams Koshi-an or Tsubu-an (I used homemade)
- 4 grams Kanten powder
- 100 ml Water
- 1 Sugar
- 1 Salt
- Dissolve the kantenr in water.
- Turn on the heat.
- When it is boiling, add sweetened bean paste and stir.
- Add sugar or salt if you like.
- When it comes to a boil again, turn off the heat.
- Pour in a container, even though it is piping hot.
- It will harden quickly.
- When it has cooled a bit, put the container in the refrigerator to cool.
- It feels so satisfying when I can slice it neatly!
- Done!
