Homemade Yokan Made With Sweet Bean Paste and Kanten

  1. Dissolve the kantenr in water.
  2. Turn on the heat.
  3. When it is boiling, add sweetened bean paste and stir.
  4. Add sugar or salt if you like.
  5. When it comes to a boil again, turn off the heat.
  6. Pour in a container, even though it is piping hot.
  7. It will harden quickly.
  8. When it has cooled a bit, put the container in the refrigerator to cool.
  9. It feels so satisfying when I can slice it neatly!
  10. Done!
