Smoky Potato Bake Recipe
- 4 c. potatoes
- 2 c. ham
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Peel and dice potatoes, combine with diced ham in bowl.
- In a saucepan heat butter and blend in flour.
- Gradually add in lowfat milk and heat to boiling, stirring continually.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in salt, pepper, garlic salt and Liquid Smoke.
- Mix with potatoes and ham.
- Turn into a buttered 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Top with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till potatoes are tender.
- Makes 6 servings.
