Sour Eggplant Hot Sauce (SAMBAL TERONG ASAM)
- 250 gr shrimp, peel and slice back
- 1 ( 150 gr) sour eggplant
- 7 pcs cayenne peppers (to taste)
- 1 pc small, red onion
- to taste Sugar and salt
- Fried shrimp until cooked, drain.
- Peel sour eggplant and wash, then cut into small pieces.
- Puree chili then add eggplant slices and sour shrimp paste.
- Add the sugar and salt, stirring until well blended.
- Serve sambal/hot sauce with shrimp.
