Fettucine With Chicken In Parmesan Cream
- 10 oz. chicken, cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. margarine
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. 1% milk
- 1 1/2 oz. Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 c. hot fettucine
- 2 c. blanched broccoli
- Spray 10-inch skillet with cooking oil.
- Heat for 1 minute. Add chicken and cook 3 minutes, then remove.
- Melt margarine.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Add flour and cook, stirring constantly with whisk, for 1 minute.
- Slowly add milk and cook until bubbly and thick.
- Add cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Cook until cheese melts.
- Add pasta, broccoli and chicken.
- Ready to serve.
