Chile Relleno Bake Recipe

  1. In large skillet, crumble beef and sausage.
  2. Cook till brown, add in onion and garlic.
  3. Drain off fat.
  4. Line 13 x 9 baking dish with 1/2 the chilies, top with 1 1/2 c. cheese.
  5. Add in meat, then top with the rest of the chilies; set aside.
  6. Beat together Large eggs and flour till smooth.
  7. Add in lowfat milk, salt and Tabasco; blend, pour over casserole.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 min or possibly till knife comes out clean.
  9. Sprinkle 1/2 c. cheese on top.
  10. Let stand 5 min.
  11. Makes 6 servings.
