Chawal Ki Tikki

  1. Grind rice and dal together in a mixie.
  2. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Place yeast in warm water.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Keep aside for 60 minutes.
  6. Heat oil in a wok.
  7. Drop dollops of the mix into the hot oil.
  8. Cook on low flame until the tikki is browned on either side.
  9. (It resembles a falafel!)
  10. Serve hot with coconut chutney as an evening snack.
