1981 World Championship Butterfield Stageline Chili Recipe

  1. Brown onions, and beef in oil.
  2. Stir in garlic, pork, chiles, cumin, oregano, salt, dry mustard, tomato sauce, tomatoes, tequila, beer, chili pwdr and bouillon cubes.
  3. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 2-3 hrs.
  4. Stir occasionally.
  5. Don't stir the last 30 minutes before serving.
