Crockpot Lasagna
- 1 lb lasagna noodle
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce of your choice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
- 32 oz ricotta cheese (you won't be using all just use as you go
- 1 grated parmesan cheese
- 1 Pam spray
- 1 pinch cracked red pepper
- 1 salt and paper to taste
- 1 garlic salt
- Boil 4 quarts of water and add salt and a light spray of pam or oil so the noodle won't stick.
- Cook al dente.
- Spray your crockpot with the pam and put on low
- Brown your meat, add onions, garlic salt, black pepper, and salt to your likings.
- Once your meat is brown add your spaghetti sauce.
- Fill your spaghetti sauce jar 1/4 of the way with water to get out the left over sauce and add it to the pan.
- Let it simmer on low for 20 minutes.
- Spray your crockpot once again.
- Let the layering begin.
- Always start with the sauce first
- Next add the noodle
- Add ricotta, parmesan, meat sauce, and mozzarella then noodles again.
- And repeat the layering
- Cook on low for 4 hours and DO NOT LIFT THE LID...
