Crunchy Chicken or Turkey Wild Rice Salad

  1. In a small pan bring the water to a boil and add wild rice.
  2. Reduce heat, simmer about 55 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and chill, if possible.
  4. In a large bowl combine the chicken, grapes, water chestnuts, and celery.
  5. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, and spices, mixing well.
  6. Add the chilled wild rice and mix again.
  7. Chill for at least 1 1/2 hours before serving.
