Grannie's Yellow Squash Casserole Recipe

  1. Boil squash and onion in salt water till soft sufficient to mash.
  2. Put into one qt dish; add in bell pepper, lowfat sour cream and 1/2 c. cracker crumbs.
  3. Add in shredded cheese.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Spread rest of cracker crumbs over top.
  6. Put 4 Tbsp.
  7. butter on crumbs.
  8. Pour wine over top.
  9. Cook at 350 degrees for 45 min.
