Cashew Chicken

  1. Swirl oil around bottom and sides of heated wok.
  2. Add salt and chicken, stir-fry 2 minutes over high heat.
  3. Add pea pods, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and chicken broth.
  4. Cover and cook 2-3 minutes.
  5. Gently stir in cashew nuts, monosodium glutamate, and sugar.
  6. Mix cornstarch with 1/2 tsp.
  7. water to form a paste and add to thicken the sauce.
  8. Serve immediately.
