Hummus Makes Me Happy
- 15 ounces, weight Canned Garbanzo Beans
- 2 Tablespoons Tahini Paste
- 3 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, Or Fresh Garlic
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 13 cups Water
- Sumac Powder, For Garnish

- Drain the beans and keep the water for later.
- 2.
- Add all of the ingredients together in a food processor or blender.
- 3.
- Make it smooth!
- I had to tweak it to my liking.
- Some like more tahini, but I personally like less, and more lemon.
- 4.
- If its too thick for you, add some of the liquid from the bean can.
- 5.
- Serve however you like!
- We kinda like it cold, room temperature and warm.
- Sprinkle the traditional sumac powder on.
- You can find it in most Indian/Asian groceries.
