Creme Fraiche Sorbet

  1. Put the water and sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring just to a simmer over high heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Let cool completely.
  4. Whisk in the creme fraiche and lemon juice.
  5. Chill thoroughly, then freeze in an ice-cream maker according to the manufacturers instructions.
