Three Color Rice Bowl
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 lb ground chicken
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tsp mirin
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- Stir-fry ground chicken in a skillet.
- Add ginger, soy sauce, mirin and sugar.
- Beat the eggs and add salt, sugar, milk then mix.
- Make scrambled eggs.
- Boiled rape blossoms with a pinch of salt.
- Drain and squeeze.
- Cut into about 2 inch pieces.
- Dress with soy sauce.
- Place cooked rice in the bowl or plate or bento box.
- Divide the ground chicken and egg and rape blossom over top.
- Decorate with cut nori (seaweed) and Gari (pickled ginger) if you like.
- Now, it actually turns into a 5 color rice bowl!
