Power Smoothie
- 1 cup organic soymilk (warmed) or 1 cup organic almond milk (warmed)
- 12 cup organic soymilk (cold) or 1 cup organic almond milk (cold)
- 14 cup organic rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons organic flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons organic whole wheat couscous
- 1 organic banana (peeled and cut up)
- 1 organic small apple (peeled and cut up)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg (grated)
- warm 1 cup of milk on top of the stove.
- place the warm milk into the blender.
- add the vanilla.
- add the rolled oats.
- add the flax seed.
- add the couscous.
- cut up and add the peeled banana.
- cut up and add the peeled apple.
- grate and add the nutmeg.
- blend at a low speed at first, then increase the speed until well blended.
- add the cold milk.
- blend on high again.
- pour and serve.
