Swiss Steak
- 10 ounces, fluid Canned Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 10 ounces, fluid Canned Tomato Soup
- 45 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 whole 3-4 Pound Size Round Steak
- Preheat oven to 325 F. Mix the first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Place roast in a Dutch oven or roasting pan.
- Sprinkle garlic powder over the steak, then pour the remaining ingredients over the steak.
- Cover and cook for 3-4 hours or until steak is tender.
- If you are using a crockpot you may cook this on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4.
- Depending on how hot your crockpot runs, it may be done sooner.
- Serve with steamed brown or white rice, spooning sauce over steak and rice.
