Baked Mushrooms with Marinated Philly
- 180g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 x 5 cm strips lemon rind Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves
- 1 small red chilli, finely sliced
- black pepper
- 12 medium (approx. 7cm) portobello mushrooms, stems removed
- rocket leaves
- Combine Philly* with the oil, garlic, lemon, herbs, chilli and pepper.
- Cover and set aside for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange mushrooms in a large baking dish.
- Divide the Philly* pieces between them, and drizzle with remaining marinade.
- Bake at 160C fan-forced for 15 minutes, or until tender.
- Serve on a bed of rocket leaves, and accompany with crusty bread.
