Chocolate Cheese Pie
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 2 cups flour
- 4-1/2 oz. Cool Whip
- 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 pkg. chocolate pudding
- Milk
- Stir together melted butter, sugar, nuts and flour.
- Press into 2 pie shells.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Blend Cool Whip, cream cheese and powdered sugar together with a mixer until smooth.
- Spread into cooled pie shells.
- (It is very important that this layer is allowed to cool before placing the pudding on it otherwise it wont set right.)
- Make pudding as directed on package, but with less milk than indicated on the package.
- *I always use the Jello pudding.
- Cool pudding completely.
- Layer onto the cool whip layer.
- Top with remaining Cool Whip.
- Garnish with chocolate curls.
