Candied Sweet Potatoes (Yams)

  1. Preheat over to 350.
  2. Cut in half the potatoes and bring to a boil until tender (leave skins on).
  3. Cool and set aside.
  4. Mix brown sugar & cinnamon into small bowl.
  5. Remove skins from potatoes, slice 1/4" thick.
  6. Peel apples and slice 1/4" thick.
  7. Layer 13x9 baking pan with sliced potatoes, apples, butter pats and brown sugar & cinnamon mix.
  8. Repeat.
  9. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until bubbling brown.
