No-Cook Strawberry-Banana Jam - CERTO Liquid
- 2-1/2 cups prepared strawberries (buy about 8 cups strawberries)
- 1 cup prepared bananas (buy about 2 bananas)
- 7 cups sugar
- 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Crush strawberries, one layer at a time.
- Measure exactly 2-1/2 cups prepared strawberries into large bowl.
- Peel and mash bananas.
- Measure exactly 1 cup prepared bananas into bowl with strawberries.
- Add sugar; mix well.
- Let stand 10 min., stirring occasionally.
- Add liquid pectin and lemon juice to fruit mixture; stir 3 min.
- or until sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.
- (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
- Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
- Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
- Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set.
- Refrigerate or freeze no-cook jams.
