Seafood Crostini Appies
- 1 loaf (250g To 270g Size) Baguette
- 1/2 teaspoons Lemon, Rind
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cups Sour Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Chives Or Green Onions
- 1/2 Tablespoons Parsley
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 package (300g Size) Imitation Crab, Cut Into Small Pieces
- 1 package (225g Size) Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cups Seafood Sauce
- Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch slices and toast on a baking sheet at 425 degrees F for about 5-7 minutes, until brown.
- Set aside and let them cool.
- Combine lemon rind and juice, sour cream, chives, parsley and salt and pepper (I blend mine in The Bullet).
- Pour over crab chunks, and get in there and squish it all together with your hands.
- Mix cream cheese and seafood sauce together.
- Spread each baguette slice generously with the cream cheese seafood spread.
- It really is the kicker in this dish.
- Then top with the crab mix.
- Note: to really impress, top each one with a shrimp.
