Garretts french toast

  1. first get a bowl for mixing.
  2. (a bowl that the slices of bread can be dipped in) add the milk, eggs, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract and mix well
  3. have your bread slices ready, get a large pan with some butter in it on med heat
  4. take a slice of bread and dip it in the mix to coat both sides quickly and lay in pan to cook.
  5. i do the coating quick or the the bread will fall apart sometimes if it gets too moist.
  6. i use a spatula or fork
  7. continue the same steps and do one slice at a time in the dipping process i usually cook around 4 slices at a time unless you have a huge pan or use 2 pans
  8. while they are cooking sprinkle a little bit of the cinnamon powder and cinnamon sugar on each slice and do the same to the other side when you flip them to Cook other sides
  9. when they are browned and done cooking i sprinkle white powdered sugar on them and serve
