Marinated Green Bean Potato Salad

  1. Fill large sauce pan or dutch over half full with water; add salt.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add potatoes; cook 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
  4. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water to boil.
  5. Add green beans; return to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 6 minutes.
  7. Add onion to beans; cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender.
  8. Drain; rinse with cold water.
  9. Place in large bowl.
  10. Drain potatoes; add to beans and onions.
  11. Add salad dressing and pepper to salad; mix well.
  12. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
