Homemade Chinese Sesame Paste
- 120 grams White sesame seeds
- 50 ml Roasted sesame oil
- 50 ml Vegetable oil
- Dry roast the sesame seeds until they become fragrant.
- Grind the sesame seeds using a mortar and pestle for about 10 minutes.
- Heat both the vegetable and sesame oil until smoke begins to rise from the pan.
- Add the oil to the mortar, bit by bit.
- Continue to grind the sesame seeds until they form a smooth paste.
- Little by little, pour in the oil and grind for about 5 minutes.
- When the mixture becomes glossy, it's finished.
- Bang Bang Chicken over chilled noodles!.
- Chilled Tan Tan Noodles!.
