Greek Stew Recipe
- 2-4 lbs. beef or possibly lamb
- 2-4 onions, sliced
- 2/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsps. whole pickling spice
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Brown meat in extra virgin olive oil, slightly.
- Add in rest of ingredients along with 1 c. of water.
- Cook till meat is done, about 3 hrs on top of stove.
- Stir occasionally and add in water as needed.
