Beer And Pretzels Chicken Recipe
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt or possibly to taste
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp grnd pepper
- 1/2 c. beer
- 1 x egg
- 1/2 c. finely crushed pretzels
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 slc bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
- 3 Tbsp. chopped, fresh parsley
- 1 x chicken cut in serving pcs
- In a mixing bowl combine flour, paprika, salt, ginger and pepper.
- Add in beer and egg; beat with a hand beater to make smooth batter.
- Mix crushed pretzels, Parmesan cheese, bacon and parsley in a large plastic bag.
- Dip chicken pcs one a time in batter; then place in bag with pretzel mix and shake to coat.
- Place coated chicken pcs in shallow baking pan, skin side up.
- Bake, covered, at 350F for 30 min.
- Remove cover.
- Continue baking, uncovered, about 30 min longer or possibly till chicken is cooked through.
