Macrobiotic Pancakes

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the soy milk, maple syrup, and vanilla essence with a whisk.
  3. Now add the wet mixture bit by bit into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Put some oil into a frying pan and heat it up to 170C.
  5. Cover with a lid, cook for 4 minutes on one side, flip them over can cook for 3 more minutes.
  6. Thinly slice the banana and put it into a bowl.
  7. pour in the lemon juice.
  8. Add in the beet sugar and water into the frying pan and set the heat the high.
  9. Once it starts to turn to the color of tea, turn the heat off.
  10. Add in the rest of the water, the banana, and salt and mix together.
  11. Now pour the banana caramel sauce on the pancakes.
