Taco Pizza

- 1/2 cups Diced Green Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin

- 1 cup Tomatoes, Diced
- 2 cups Shredded Lettuce

- Preheat the oven to 425 F.
- Prepare your pizza crust.
- I generally just use a Boboli pizza crust and spray it with cooking spray.
- Saute the onion and green pepper in a little bit of oil.
- Once the vegetables start to sweat and get soft, add the ground beef.
- If using a high fat content beef, drain the fat off.
- Then add chili powder, cumin and salt.
- Spread the refried beans onto the crust.
- Next, spread on the nacho cheese sauce.
- Layer on the beef mixture next, and top with your shredded cheeses.
- Put it in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Pull it out of the oven and let cool slightly.
- Then top with tomatoes, lettuce and Dorito chips.
- Serve with your favorite taco toppings sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, taco sauce, black olives whatever your heart desires.
