Sweet Corn Alouette

  1. Cover corn in large pot with cold water.
  2. Water level should be 1 inch above corn.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Cover and kill heat.
  6. Let sit undisturbed for 30 minutes.
  7. Slowly melt cream cheese and cream in a small non-stick saute pan.
  8. Stir with a whisk.
  9. Drain corn and toss with melted cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
  10. Season with salt.
  11. Variations; Cayenne pepper, black pepper, parmigiano reggiano, butter, paprika, applewood seasoning

sugar, corn cobs, red bell pepper, heavy cream, kosher salt
