Hearty Reuben Bake Recipe
- 1 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Packages (2 1/2 ounce. each) smoked sliced corned beef, cut into 1/4 inch strips
- 1 can (8 ounce.) sauerkraut, liquid removed
- 1/2 c. bottled Thousand Island dressing
- 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (about 8 ounce.)
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Lightly grease square pan, 8x8x2 inches.
- Mix baking mix and water till soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes.
- Pat in pan with floured hands.
- Arrange corned beef proportionately over dough.
- Mix sauerkraut and dressing; spoon over corned beef.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake till cheese is golden brown, about 30 min.
- 6 servings.
