Vickys Maple Oat Plum Crumble

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6 / 200C / 400F and lightly grease an ovenproof casserole or baking dish
  2. Toss the chopped plums in the syrup then put in the oven to cook for 10 minutes
  3. Meanwhile make the topping - Mix the flour, oats, sugar and cinnamon together
  4. Rub the butter in with your fingertips to create crumbs
  5. Once the plums are out of the oven, cover with the crumb topping and return to the oven for a further 15 minutes until the top is golden
  6. Serve immediately with custard or ice cream and drizzle some extra maple syrup on top
